Leadership / Team
Our CEO, Ralph Armijo, is a proud Pueblo native whose family has been rooted in Southern Colorado for generations, dating back before the U.S. acquired the territory from Mexico under General Armijo. His great-grandfather was a farmer, rancher, and pony express rider; his father was a coal miner and later worked at the Pueblo Army Depot for 20 years. Ralph grew up on Pueblo’s East Side, graduated from East High School (and is in its Alumni Hall of Fame), earned his BA from Colorado College, received an MBA from UCLA, and was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate for entrepreneurship. He has over 18 years of Fortune 10 management experience and has founded multiple companies, leading some to go public on Nasdaq, forming international joint ventures, selling to Microsoft, and creating industry-leading results. Beyond his business accomplishments, Ralph values his 50-year marriage to his wife Judy, their three successful children, and 12 grandchildren. His lifelong dedication to Pueblo’s growth drives Glycerin Solutions’ mission to create high-quality jobs, foster economic growth, and position Pueblo as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
